This page explains, in terms anyone can follow, how you can request the deletion of the personal data we process through the ARIA service. ARIA is operated by Annapolis Tour S.R.L., a Romanian legal entity, CUI 38461850, registration no. J2017003056086, with its registered office at Str. Gheorghe Bariţiu nr. 18, Brașov, 500025.
1. How to request deletion
Send an email to [email protected] with the subject "Data deletion (Ștergere date)" and the telephone number or the email address from which you wrote to ARIA. We confirm the request and delete the data within a maximum of 30 days. We do not charge you anything.
2. Two situations
If you wrote to us directly (on the website, through ARIA's WhatsApp or by email), we are the data controller and we delete your data on request.
If you spoke with ARIA at the front desk of a business (for example a hotel that uses ARIA), then that business is the data controller, and we are only the processor. You can request the deletion directly from that business, or you can write to us and we pass the request on to it, helping it to resolve the request within a maximum of 5 working days. The relationship is governed by our DPA.
3. What we delete
- The content of your conversations with ARIA (text messages, transcripts of voice messages)
- The associated contact identifiers (telephone number, email)
- The conversation metadata (time, channel, detected language)
We may keep the strict minimum required by law (for example, billing data, which carries a legal retention obligation of 10 years) and anonymised technical logs. None of this identifies you directly any more.
4. Confirmation
After the deletion we send you a confirmation by email. If you only want a copy of your data before the deletion (the right to portability, Art. 20 GDPR), ask for it in the same email and we deliver it to you in JSON format.
5. Contact
For any question relating to the deletion of data: [email protected]. See also the Privacy policy for your full rights under the GDPR.
